It's the 1984 performance, with Bernd Weikl.:

This is a superb production,at last available on DVD. The transcription (sound and vision) is excellent. Unless you don't possess a DVD player, I'd strongly recommend buying the DVD version.

amazon is not ready to sell serious music:

starring R. Wagner, eh? must be the one who married Natalie Wood. Who's the conductor--a guy with a ticket punch? Singers?

I can't believe it:

I can't believe that Amazon expects anyone to spend 38 dollars on a video with such a lousy incomplete description
